Shipping & Pickup

All orders are shipped from Toronto, Canada.

Yes! Contactless Pickup is available at Renforth and Eglinton in Toronto (a residential area 5 mins south of YYZ Airport).

Select "Pickup" instead of "Shipping" when going through checkout. Once your order is ready to be picked up, you will receive an email notification with specific instructions to book your pickup.

Alternatively, any customers within Canada that reside within 30km of a ChitChats shipping branch will be shown "ChitChats Collect" options at checkout for local pickup near you. This significantly reduces the cost of tracked shipping coast to coast! Learn more here

I currently ship to North America, South America, Australasia, and a few countries within Europe.

Shipping is automatically calculated at checkout based on package weight and destination. Simply add your desired items to the cart, go through checkout and enter your shipping information to receive a quote.

There are no guaranteed delivery dates. Estimated delivery time depends on:

1. The shipping method you select at checkout

2. The courier (Canada Post, ChitChats, USPS, UPS, FedEx etc).

STANDARD UNTRACKED SHIPPING within Canada does not include a tracking number or have a guaranteed delivery date. Select this method at your own risk. I always provide video proof of shipment.

TRACKED SHIPPING includes insurance up to a maximum of $100 with additional insurance options available for purchase if need be. Due to COVID19 delays, guaranteed delivery dates are no longer guaranteed by the courier.

Payment Methods & Currency

I accept all major Credit & Debit Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, eTransfer (Canadian customers only), and more! Specific payment options will be shown to you at checkout.

All transactions are processed in Canadian Dollars.

While the website and contents of your cart may be displayed in your "home" currency based on your IP address, this is an estimate and may fluctuate based on the day & time of viewing.

Your chosen payment method processor will complete the currency exchange for you at the time of ordering, and the final charge will display in your "home" currency on your banking statement.

Canadian customers have the option of sending payment via electronic transfer.

Select the "eTransfer" payment method at checkout, add payments@benincasadesign.com to your contacts and follow the rest of the instructions at checkout.

eTransfer payments are due within 1 hour of ordering. After 1 hour, unpaid orders will be cancelled. If you have any issues or need help verifying receipt of your payment, simply send me a message and I will be happy to help.

Yes! Purchases made on this website are completely secure and I do not store or have access to any detailed credit card information.

I do not charge additional fees other than the total amount owed for the order. Any additional fees applied by your bank are not under my control. Please contact your financial institution if you have questions about this.

Product pricing and shipping costs do not include any potential customs fees, duties or taxes placed on the package once it is received in your country/delivered to you.

Buyers are solely responsible for any and all custom fees, tariffs, duties, taxes, etc. that your purchase might incur at your country's border.

I do not collect these fees or have any way to calculate/determine what these fees might be for you. I am not responsible for these charges in any way; they are an inherent part of purchasing internationally. For additional information, refer to your local customs agency.

Returns will not be accepted if you refuse a package due to high customs fees. Although not every parcel is charged a duty, you should be prepared to pay potential duty fees with any international purchase.

Discount Codes & Promotions

PLEASE NOTE: Custom made-to-order products do not qualify for discounts. I cannot apply codes to previous orders if the code was not successfully applied during the checkout process. Use whichever promotion gives you the best savings! You are also welcome to place separate orders to take advantage of various applicable discounts.

If you have a discount code to use, From the "Cart" page, proceed to "Checkout" and then enter your code in the box that says "gift card or discount code" underneath your order summary.

If there is a promotion running that says "no code required", the advertised discount will automatically be applied at checkout on applicable items.

Multiple discount codes and/or automatic discounts cannot be combined in 1 order. Why?

First: the website itself won't allow it, even if I wanted it to!

Second: Every single product is either handmade by or designed solely by myself - I do not re-sell outsourced/wholesale products!

I run this business to help support myself and my husband (outside of my part time job which allows me to volunteer) so I must limit it to 1 discount of each type per order. It is not sustainable for me to offer stacked discounts since I pay for each discount out of pocket.

That being said, I still do make sure to offer a variety of promotions to choose from regardless, because I want to give each one of you friends a thank you for your support! I greatly appreciate each and every order that comes through :) Here are some of the ongoing promotions you can choose from:
