As of August 29, 2025 De Minimis (Duty Free) entry into the U.S. is suspended for all countries.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
The U.S. has had a de minimis threshold of $800 since 2016, meaning shipments valued at or below that amount could enter duty-free. However, this exemption is being eliminated, meaning all international purchases, regardless of value, will be subject to duties and taxes as of August 29, 2025.
